  • Location information: country, state, and city (provided during onboarding)
  • Phone number: optionally provided for account recovery

  • Voting history: your votes on matchups, lists, and tournaments
  • Purchase history: Zem purchases, subscription transactions, and token usage
  • Device information: push notification tokens, device type, operating system version
  • Usage data: features used, pages viewed, interactions with content

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Provide, maintain, and improve FanClash services
  • Process transactions and manage your Zem wallet
  • Send push notifications about voting results, tournaments, and account activity
  • Personalize your experience including feed content and recommendations
  • Display leaderboards and public profiles
  • Enforce our Terms of Service and prevent abuse
  • Respond to support requests
  • Comply with legal obligations

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate FanClash:

  • Convex— our backend database and server infrastructure. Your account data, voting history, and content are stored on Convex servers.
  • RevenueCat— payment processing for in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat processes your purchase transactions through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Expo— push notification delivery service. Your device push token is shared with Expo to deliver notifications.

Each third-party service has its own privacy policy governing how it handles your data. We encourage you to review their respective privacy policies.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following circumstances:

  • Public profile data: your username, display name, profile photo, level, and voting stats are visible to other users
  • Leaderboards: your ranking, username, and scores may appear on public leaderboards
  • Service providers: with the third-party services listed above, solely to operate FanClash
  • Legal requirements: if required by law, regulation, or legal process
  • Safety: to protect the rights, safety, or property of FanClash, our users, or the public

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or legitimate business purposes.

7. Data Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

FanClash is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.
